THE OPPORTUNITY:
Working with Woods, Canada’s outfitter since 1885, presented the chance to contribute to a heritage outdoor brand with deep roots in exploration, durability, and outdoor lifestyle. The goal was to introduce fresh, engaging apparel graphics that respected that legacy while connecting with modern outdoor consumers.
THE SOLUTION:
I developed a series of illustrated apparel graphics, including character-driven mascots like “Tenti,” a playful tent character, and “Woodsy,” inspired by the Woods brand icon. These designs introduced a lighter, more approachable personality while maintaining alignment with the brand’s outdoor identity.
Seasonal color palettes and adaptable graphic elements allowed the visuals to extend across multiple apparel applications, creating engaging, recognizable pieces that balanced heritage authenticity
with fresh, modern appeal.
